Carol J. Adams, author of The Sexual Politics of Meat and many other books, will give the first Annual Tom Regan Memorial Lecture at North Carolina State University on Friday, September 21, 2018. This event commemorates the work of Culture and Animals Foundation co-founder Tom Regan, who was on the philosophy faculty at NC State for more than 34 years. The event is jointly sponsored by the Culture & Animals Foundation and by the NC State Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. I will be attending this event.
