I can’t help thinking that this story is going to be used to prepare the public for a repeal of the ban on fox hunting. It’s amazing what a few well placed panicky tabloid (and broadcast media) stories can do to change people’s view of an issue. Soon we’ll be seeing stories claiming that a return to fox hunting is necessary to protect children.
