BBC Radio 4’s “Start the Week” is an excellent program which includes tomorrow morning friend and colleague Jonathan Balcombe discussing his new book, Second Nature, which I highly recommend. You can be anywhere in the world to listen to BBC Radio 4 by going to the BBC Iplayer Web site; however, if you’re in London tomorrow evening (Monday, March 29) you can join me at a talk Jonathan will give at the British Library at 6:30 p.m.

@sturdyAlex Yes. Brexit has been an entirely imaginary debate about identity. Now it will become real. And we won't be fighting phantoms anymore
Boris Johnson. You can have Brexit. It’s your baby now. It’s all yours. You lied to win in 2016 and lied to win in 2019. Because of the lies, I don’t even blame those who voted for you.
It’s all on you now, everything that happens.
One thing you won’t see discussed by the UK political pundits or even most politicians is that the climate is even more well and truly effed now as UK voters rejected a party offering radical change on the climate and went with a guy who couldn’t even turn up for a climate debate
